Va. Horse Park Wrap Up!

Brian and Penny put on a world class show at the VA horse park this past weekend.  We were blessed with a break in the weather,  as it had been raining alot prior to the event but this made for perfect going on the XC.

I had 3 horses going at the event:  D-Day was second in the Training, finishing on his dressage score and Avebury WF jumped the CCI 1* without a fault to be 1 of 3 to finish on their dressage score.   Frankie had his first Prelim,  which was a eye opener for him as jumping indoors he was a little star struck, but all in all we had a great time at VA!

MCTA & Plantation

This week has happened so fast, I'm blending 2 blogs in 1!

MCTA was great, such a nice venue, great event organizers that really catered to the riders.
Cetano (pictured here schooling at home) was the star of my rides with a win in the training division, scoring 25 in the dressage! Prelim next start for this guy!  Frankie also finished well, adding nothing to his dressage score finishing in 9th place. Prelim next start for him too!

Thankfully the rain stayed away!  The ground was still chopped up from the last event that was rained out.  I had 4 rides and they all jumped very well with Gran Banks placing 2nd in the prelim then Kilkenny who stepped up to training and was 2nd, Dreamboat was 3rd in the same division and Gambado jumped faultlessly to place 2nd in the Novice.

We are heading down to Lexington VA for the 1 star next week!

New Imported ISH!

CETANO

16.1 6 yr old Irish Sport Horse gelding.
Cetano is bred to event and is by Cyrano who is a world class show jumping stallion.
He is out of a ISH mare by King of Ireland.

Cetano was imported from England last year after successfully competing pre-novice (training level).
Cetano recently placed 3rd at Fair Hill in the training division with a score of 28 in the dressage and is ready to move up to preliminary.

This is a super horse with trainability, ride-ability and the talent to go all the way!  Price upon request.
