Ilona and Terry English Join the Fernhill Classic Syndicate!!

We are extremely excited to announce that Ilona and Terry English (Ringoes NJ) have joined the (now 8) members of the Fernhill Classic Synicate!!  They have been longtime supporters of Woodstock Eventing, with several other talented horses in training with Ryan, including the super pony Popeye, and their own Summit Sport Horses' homebreds, Powell, Illiniza and Ruby!

We are thrilled to have them on board in this capacity.  Thank you ~ Ryan

Southern Pines Hosts A Spectacular Carolina International CIC & HT!

Southern Pines put on a spectacular event this past weekend, hosting the first annual Carolina International CIC and HT, where we had perfect conditions for eventing. It was a serious track with maximum height, width and technical questions for each level.

Classic

Classic (shown above) has confirmed himself as an Advanced horse, putting in a solid performance in the dressage scoring a 35, just one rail in the show jumping prior to jumping clear around the difficult cross country track.

McLovin

Mclovin (owned by Heather, Bob and Spike Sinclair) was 5th in the 2 star putting in a great test, show jumping double clear and just adding 6 time penalties xc to his score.  I am very excited to have these great horses competing at the upper levels and looking forward for what the future brings.

Jordan had her Canadian Sport horse, Femme Fatale, in the prelim - having a little wake up call at the Sunken Rd - going home very humble and determined for Bromont CCI 1 star in June.

We are now back in PA and adjusting to the cooler climate here, next event will be Plantation in April.

Super Weekend At Sporting Days!

We had 7 horses competing this past weekend, with 3 owned and bred by Summit Sporthorses.
Saturday I rode 3 training horses and all horses jumping double clear.  My own Shannondale Sergio won, Curran Simpson's Fernhill Flame was 2nd and Summit Sporthorses' Powell was 3rd!

Charlotte Collis rode her own Balmoral Mighty Legend to 2nd in the Prelim and Mighty Midas was 9th in the training, both jumping double clear rounds!

Sunday I rode Ruby, owned by Leanne Haley-Brown and bred by Summit Sporthorses in her 2nd show ever to finish on her dressage score, jumping faultlessly.

Stacy rode the super pony Popeye owned by Summit Sporthorses to lead from start to finish jumping double clear SJ and XC winning the BN!
