Success at Fair Hill International

Woodstock Eventing competed at Fair Hill International Horse Trials this past weekend in Elkton, Maryland. There was wonderful footing around the Horse Park, out on the cross country course, and the weather conditions could not have been better. Derek di Grazia did an excellent job designing the Advanced track and all of the horses were able to finish strong and confident. 

Ryan competed five horses, with three in the Advanced, and two in the CIC2* division. He finished in first with Frankie owned by Steve and Karri Guy, second with McLovin owned Bob and Heather Sinclair and fifth with Fernhill Classic owned by The Fernhill Classic Syndicate! In the CIC2*, Alcatraz owned by Sarah Hughes finished second and Powell owned by Summit Sporthorses finished third! 

It was great to have some of our owners and supporters come out and cheer us on. Thank you Ilona, Doug, Rhonda, Amy, Logan, Aileen, Janie and Mary for your support. Special thanks to Mary for shuttling horses and gear back to the barns from the vet box after cross country, and making sure we had enough water supply throughout the weekend.
