Ryan rode Summit Sporthorse's Powell, Curran and Margy Simpson's Woodstock Bennett and Mark Hartsch and Linda Ledray's Woodstock Wallaby in Richland's inaugural CCI2* division. All three horses achieved great results in the dressage, all scoring 45 and below for spots in the top ten heading into the cross-country phase.
Course Designer Ian Stark built a super cross-country track that encouraged forward riding and built up the horse's confidence as they went. All three of Ryan's horses jumped very well, coming home clear and inside the time to stay on their dressage scores overnight.
Marc Donovan was at his best at Richland, building an excellent show jumping track with nearly every jump on a related line. All Ryan's horses jumped lovely double clean rounds, finishing the weekend on their dressage score! Woodstock Wallaby finished in 3rd place, Powell in 4th place, and Woodstock Bennett in 5th place.
