Team Woodstock had a wet but very successful weekend. Ryan competed with three horses at the Morven Park Horse Trials and one at the ESDCTA New Jersey Horse Trials.

Ryan took the Advanced horses to Morven Park to compete in the Advanced combined test (cross-country was cancelled due to the weather). Steve and Karri Guy's Frankie put in a solid dressage test despite the rain and jumped a super double-clear show jumping round to finish 12th. Heather and Bob Sinclair's McLovin and The Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic both had personal best dressage scores for the Advanced level test and put in great stadium rounds with one unlucky rail apiece. Fernhill Classic finished 9th and McLovin 14th. All three horses are feeling ready for the Fair Hill International CCI3* later this month.

Charlie and Shannondale Nimbus had a solid performance in the CIC1*, scoring their own personal best in the dressage and adding a few time faults on cross-country to finish in 11th place.
Ryan scratched the other horses as it was so wet that the cross-country phase had been cancelled for all horse trial divisions.
Ryan secured a late entry at the ESDCTA New Jersey Horse Trials for Chimene Evans' Shannondale Sam and he led the Open Preliminary-B division from start to finish on his dressage score to secure his final qualification for the CCI1* at Virginia.
