Woodstock Eventing had a successful start to the 2017 season at the Stable View Aiken Opener Horse Trials. This weekend was a great prep for our horses leading into their winter events. 

In the Open Training division, Ryan competed Curran Simpson's RF Cosmos and Steve and Karri Guy's Lost in Ireland. RF Cosmos put in an outstanding test scoring a 21.8 to lead the division after dressage and produce the top dressage score of the entire event! He added a single unlucky rail in the show jumping to finish 3rd in the division on a 25.8. Ryan and Lost in Ireland put in a straightforward dressage test and added nothing to their dressage score with a great double-clear cross-country ride to finish in 5th on a 31.8. Woodstock Eventing's next competition will be at Full Gallop January Horse Trials on January 28-29.
