Eventing had a busy weekend continuing to prepare for the very exciting year
ahead. Ryan took the opportunity to move several of the horses in
his string up a level and was thrilled with all ten horses' performances at Sporting Days Farm.

On
Saturday, Summit Sporthorses' Ruby competed in the Preliminary/Intermediate division. Ruby scored a
34.5 and jumped double clear to finish 3rd. Mary Hazzard’s Chusinmyconfession
excelled in her Preliminary debut. She scored a 31.5 in dressage and jumped
double clear to finish 5th. Ryan couldn’t be happier with how well both horses
handled the new challenge.

Ryan
rode three across the Open Training divisions. Summit Sporthorses’ Ben Nevis,
Linda Ledray’s Billy McClusky, and Cheryl Gamboney’s Gambado finished
5th, 3rd, and 8th respectively. Cole Horn also rode his own Cooley Sligo to a
4th place finish in Open Training B and Alex Conrad finished 7th in the
Preliminary Rider division aboard Don't Tell The Preacher.

The
Novice horses competed on Sunday with solid performances. Linda Ledray’s Cooley
Blue, Curran Simpson’s Tullabeg Dilson, Amy Peloquin’s Shannondale Julius and Linda Ledray's Cooley Flight finished with minimal error in 10th, 15th, 12th and 4th. Eiffel
did the Novice combined test and was in 9th place on his dressage score of 36
after his double clear show jumping round.

Woodstock
Eventing's time in Aiken is coming to a close and soon Ryan and his team will
begin making their way back North. Coming up next, Ryan will travel to Southern
Pines, NC to compete at Carolina International.
