Woodstock Eventing's Weekend Wrap Up from Plantation Field

Popstar
It was great weekend to have the team out competing just down the road from my home base at Plantation Field.

Woodstock Eventing's working student Cole Horn gave his own Cooley Sligo a great ride in the Open Preliminary. Cole and Sligo added only a single rail to their dressage score of 30.7 to finish 3rd. Cole also lead the Open Novice-A division from start to finish with Summit Sporthorses' Popstar. Curran Simpson and RF Cosmos were right behind in 2nd place. I rode Brittany Hebets' Cooley All Business to 4th and Linda Ledray's Cooley Flight to 5th. Assistant rider Alex Conrad and his young horse Malibu Preacher finished 6th at Malibu's first competition.

Shannondale Julius
In the Novice-B division, Kevin Keane's HH Ontario scored a 25.5 in dressage and finished 2nd on his dressage score. I also rode Amy Peloquin's Shannondale Julius to 6th on a 30.0 in the Novice-C division. It was a successful weekend for all and I am looking forward to more to come from these talented young horses.

Congratulations to Amy Peloquin on her stunning new horse Cooley Titanium Blue! We are excited to have him stay with us for a month while he and Amy get to know each other. He is a talented six-year-old and we are looking forward to seeing him and Amy out competing.

Cooley Titanium Blue gets his feet wet for the first time stateside.

Thank you to Woodstock Eventing's incredible team, owners, sponsors, and supporters that make it all possible!
