Woodstock Eventing's 2019 Season Is Underway

RF Cosmos
Earlier this month, we arrived in Aiken, S.C. at Curran and Margy Simpsons' beautiful Victoria Farm for the 2019 winter season. Victoria Farm is located next door to Phillip Dutton's Red Oak Farm in the Bridle Creek Equestrian Development. The facility boasts a brand new bank complex and 30 portable beginner novice to intermediate cross-country jumps. We are excited for a great year of training and competition and have a great team of people and horses ready to compete.

Cooley by Design
On Wednesday, we had a successful day of competition at Stable View's Winter Horse Trials. All of the horses had a great and confident start to the 2019 season. I rode five horses in a field of 27 in the Open Novice division, all who finished on their dressage score. Curran Simpson's RF Cosmos was all business and delivered a great test to earn a 26.2 and 3rd place. Cooley by Design made his competition debut stateside and scored a 35.2 to finish 10th. Monique Sanchez's Cooley Shutterfly Cruise, Mary Hazzard's Mystic Hazzard, and Summit Sporthorses' Eiffel performed a solid tests to score 35.5, 36.9, and 34.7 for 11th, 15th and 21st place respectively.

Coming up next, we will be competing at Sporting Days Farm on Sunday with 6 horses. Stay tuned for a full report!
