Woodstock Eventing's Successful Weekend at Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials

Ben feeling proud after his clear cross country.
Ryan traveled to Thomson, Georgia to compete with four horses at Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials. Aiken has had a very wet winter, but the sun came out just in time for the competition this past weekend.
Ryan rode Ilona English's Ruby in the Open Preliminary-A division. Ruby put in a solid dressage test to score a 34.4 and jumped clean in both phases. She added only time on cross country to finish her second event of the year in 6th place.
Also competing in Preliminary, Ryan rode Linda Ledray's promising gelding Cooley Flight in the Open Preliminary-C division. Blue scored a 33.3 in the dressage and jumped double clean in stadium and cross country to finish in 8th place.
In the Training division, Ryan piloted Ruby's half brother and Ilona English's gelding Ben Nevis to a 4th place finish. Ben delivered a great result in his first competition of the year and finished on his dressage score of 33.8.
The Bellavista Syndicate's lovely mare Bellavista jumped beautifully over the weekend. Ryan and Bellavista scored a 26.7 in dressage and delivered smooth rounds in both show jumping and cross country to finish 2nd.
