Woodstock Eventing's Weekend at Fair Hill & Bucks County Horse Trials

Ryan and Team Woodstock Eventing kicked off Labor Day weekend at Fair Hill's Starter Horse Trials on Saturday. Ryan rode Julia Strawbridge's Evening Ride and Tap the Pistol in their competition debut. Both horses finished on their dressage scores and topped the Open Beginner Novice division with 1st and 2nd place finishes.

On Sunday, Ryan traveled to Bucks County Horse Trial with three horses. In Open Training I, syndicate owned Bellavista scored a 29.3 in dressage and finished on her dressage score in 3rd place. Ilona S. English's Ben Nevis and Ben Lomond both had great outings. Ben Nevis also scored a 29.3 in dressage and jumped double clear to finish in 4th place in the Training division. Ben's younger brother, Ben Lomond was 4th in his first event at Beginner Novice.
