Woodstock Eventing Wins at Pine Top

Cooley Continental
PC: Liz Crawley

Ryan traveled to Thomson, Georgia to compete with four horses at Pine Top Intermediate Horse Trials. It was a cold and very wet weekend, but the horses had great performances despite the weather.

Ryan rode Linda Ledray's Cooley Flight in the Open Preliminary-C division. Blue put in a solid dressage test to score a 32.6 and jumped clear. The wet weather did not phase him and his quickness and efficiency on cross country moved him up the leaderboard to take the win.

In the Open Training-A division, Ryan piloted Curran Simpson's Woodstock Argo to an 8th place finish with a dressage score of 29.3. Also, syndicate owned Bellavista finished 10th with a dressage score of 29.1.

Ryan rode Cooley Continental owned by Curran Simpson in the Open Training-B division. Cooley Continental jumped beautifully over the weekend. The pair scored a 34.1 in dressage and delivered smooth rounds in both show jumping and cross country to finish 5th.

This weekend, Ryan will be competing five horses at Paradise Farm in Aiken, SC. Stay tuned for a full report!
