Woodstock Eventing had a great weekend at Plantation Field International Horse Trials. Plantation Field is a top-class venue and Ryan is grateful to be based several miles down the road. Ryan rode Linda Ledray’s 2012 Irish Sport Horse gelding Cooley Flight in his first CCI3*-S.
Blue performed a solid test to score a 35.6 in dressage. Next, he jumped a flawless clear show jumping round to move up the leaderboard. On cross-country Blue was brave and bold. He attacked the challenging track and galloped through the finish with only 8.8 time penalties. Ryan and Blue finished the weekend 21st out of 59 starters. Ryan is looking forward to riding Blue around his first CCI3*-L at Fair Hill International in just a few weeks.
