Woodstock Eventing's horses delivered top results at the USEA East Coast Championships held at Fair Hill in Elkton, Maryland. The facility was impeccable and true championship level courses were presented at this world-class venue. With the East Coast Championships running during the inaugural Maryland 5 Star the atmosphere was high throughout the entire week of competition.
Linda Ledray's Cooley Flight excelled in his first CCI3*-L. Cooley Flight earned a 33.1 in dressage and jumped his way to an 11th place finish out of 50 competitors! He was bold around the tough cross-country track and jumped an effortless clear on the final day. Ryan is excited for many more championships in this special horse's future.
Castle Cavalier
The four-year-olds handled the atmosphere like seasoned pros all week long. Castle Cavalier and Fernhill Domino both by Sligo Candy Boy finished 8th and 9th in the 32 horse field. Amy Peloquin's Castle Cavalier finished on a score of 82.70 and syndicate owned Fernhill Domino finished on a score of 82.48. Ryan also rode Martha Barchowsky's Nesbitt to a 20th place finish on a score of 76.76. Nesbitt is a talented ISH mare by High Scope with great potential.
More to come from Woodstock Eventing. Stay tuned!
