It has been a big couple of weeks for Ryan as he and his team have moved back up to Pennsylvania into a new facility at Lanefield Farm! This is a gorgeous property in the heart of Unionville, and what better way to celebrate than kicking off the spring season with an event right in his back yard at Plantation Fields Horse Trials!

With three horses contesting the training level Ryan produced some great results at this local show. Excel Star Heartthrob was the highest finisher at 5th place after maintaining his dressage score of 31.9. Not too far behind was Fernhill Domino, who finished on his dressage score of 36.7 for 9th place. Finally, Castle Cavalier jumped from 17th to 9th after two double-clear jumping rounds!

The next weekend at Fair Hill International, Check Point and Cooley Continental ran their first 3*’s of the year. Cooley Continental— or “Chip,” as he’s known in the barn— only added cross-country time to his dressage score for an 11th place finish in the division. Just behind him, Check point added one rail and a bit of time across country for 12th place.

It is great to be back home, and even better to see the continued support of familiar faces near and far!
