Moving Up In The World!!

Woodstock eventing took 15 horses to Loch Moy this past weekend.  We had half of the horses stepping it up a level at their move up event and they did it with style.

Summit sport horses had 4 horses bring home our top results:
Grand Traverse Prelim 6th
Illiniza Training 4th
Powell Training 6th
Popeye Novice 7th

Curran and Margy Simpson's Woodstock Bennett and Mark and Linda Ledray's Woodstock Wallaby both stepped up to Prelim, finishing on their dressage score placing 5th and 4th respectively.

My own Shannondale Sergio is growing up, placing 3rd in his first Training.

Charlie Campbell stunned everyone with a cracking dressage test, scoring a 24 in the Prelim with Roosevelt!

Chris Tally rode 3 horses -  Popeye, Illiniza and Tucan Tango.  All horses finished without any jumping penalties.

Charlotte Collis rode Legend and Midas.  Midas cruised around the novice looking like he was ready for training and Legend had an uncharacteristic look at the first XC jump, forcing a circle but finishing strong.

I rode 3 horses in the Intermediate: Steve and Kari Guy's Frankie jumped superbly placing 5th, Fernhill Classic was a machine cross country also placing 5th and George and Julia's McLovin stepped up to the plate coming in 4th at his first Intermediate.

Randa Sorzanos Pleasant Randezvous was faultless, finishing on his dressage score of a 27 at his first Novice event placing 5th.

Next stop Fitches Corner in NY this weekend!

Cheers ~ Ryan
