Team Woodstock in Canada!

This past weekend, Ryan competed four horses at the Bromont International Event in Quebec, Canada. All the competitors feel so lucky to be able to travel to an Event that is so beautiful and well run. It is great for the horses and riders to gain valuable experience with the large atmosphere and it is very similar to being at an Event in Europe but much closer!

Woodstock Bennett
PC: Mary Stone
In the CCI2* division, Woodstock Bennett owned by Curran and Margy Simpson, had an excellent weekend scoring an impressive 46.3 in dressage, jumping a double clear cross-country round, and pulling just one unlucky rail to finish in seventh place in a very competitive division. Woodstock Wallaby owned by Mark Hartsch and Linda Ledray also competed in this division performing a lovely dressage test to score 50.5, Ryan unfortunately retired him on course after a few green stops but overall it was a great experience which will further his education and he has a very bright future.

Fernhill Classic
PC: Mary Stone
Fernhill Classic owned by The Fernhill Classic Syndicate, and McLovin owned by Heather and Bob Sinclair competed in the CCI3* division. Both horses performed consistent and obedient dressage tests, and jumped around a very difficult cross country course clean with just a handful of time faults which was a huge accomplishment and testament to their partnership with Ryan. Show jumping was quite a challenging course and each horse had a few rails but tried their hardest. Classic finished in Eleventh place with McLovin just behind him in Twelfth place out of a huge division, what is even more exciting is that both horses are now qualified for Rolex or any Four Star Event!

Thank you to Ryan's incredible team, owners, and sponsors for all of their support. Ryan is grateful to have a string of very talented horses and we can't wait to see where they will go.
