Flora Lea Horse Trials Recap

Team Woodstock had an excellent weekend with the young horses at the Flora Lea Horse Trials.

Mary Hazzard's homebred mare Isabella C won her first Preliminary level event on a score of 21.8 in the Open Prelim-A division, and Chimene Evans' Shannondale Sam finished close behind in 2nd place on his dressage score of 25.9. Sarah Hughes' Cobra won the Open Prelim-B division, scoring a 23 in dressage and jumping a clean cross-country round.

Curran Simpson's RF Cosmos won the Training Horse division with a dressage score of 21, and Jill Collis' Twain finished 3rd. Holly Whitworth's Woodstock Cash put in a solid performance to finish 6th in the Open Training, and this lovely horse is also for sale.

Stacey rode Summit Sporthorses' Popeye to a 3rd place finish in the Novice on an impressive score of 19.6!
