Woodstock Eventing at the Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International

Team Woodstock competed at the Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International event this past weekend with Ryan riding three horses in the CCI3* division and also competing one horse in the Young Event Horse Five-Year-Old East Coast Championships.

The Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic
Ryan competed The Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic, Steve and Karri Guy's Frankie, and Bob and Heather Sinclair's McLovin in the CCI3*. All three horses put in solid dressage tests to lie in 38th, 24th, and 31st respectively after dressage. On Saturday, Ryan piloted all three horses around Derek di Grazia's challenging cross-country course, all jumping clean and adding just one second of time each for McLovin and Frankie. This moved each horse up the leaderboard considerably, with Frankie in 10th, McLovin in 14th and Fernhill Classic in 16th heading into stadium jumping. Sally Ike's stadium course proved to be very influential, with Ryan jumping one of just seven double-clean rounds aboard Fernhill Classic, and having a single unlucky rail each aboard Frankie and McLovin. Ultimately, Ryan finished 10th with Frankie, 11th with Fernhill Classic, and 14th with McLovin for three horses in the top 15! Also, Fernhill Classic was one of only two horses to finish on their dressage score.
