Woodstock Eventing at Paradise Farm

Team Woodstock had a very busy weekend, with Ryan riding seven horses at Paradise Farm and also coaching several students over the course of the weekend.

On Friday, Ryan competed with Mary Hazzard's Isabella C, Summit Sporthorses' Ruby and Woodstock Eventing's Shannondale Sergio in the Preliminary division. Isabella C scored an impressive 22.5 in the dressage and jumped two double-clean jumping rounds to finish 2nd in the division. Ruby also jumped double-clean in both cross-country and stadium to finish in 6th on her dressage score. Shannondale Sergio added just a few cross-country time faults to finish in 9th place.

Ryan rode RF Cosmos and Jill Collis' Twain in the Open Training division. RF Cosmos scored a 24.3 in the dressage and jumped clean in both jumping phases to win the division on his dressage score. Twain also jumped double-clean to finish the day on his dressage score.

Ryan also had two horses competing in the Open Novice division, Summit Sporthorses' Ben Nevis and Sarah Hughes' Shannondale Percy. Ben Nevis added just a few time faults in stadium to his dressage score of 20.9 to finish the day in 3rd place, and Shannondale Percy put in a solid performance, also adding a few time faults in stadium to his dressage score.

Stacey rode Summit Sporthorses' Popeye in the Novice and Summit Sporthorses' Popstar in the Beginner Novice. Both Popeye and Popstar finished the weekend on their dressage scores, with Popeye finishing 10th in the Novice and Popstar 3rd in the Beginner Novice.

Cole Horn rode Spy Catcher in the J/YR Open Preliminary, adding only time faults to his dressage score to finish the weekend in 3rd place.

Alex Conrad rode Doug in the Training Rider division, finishing on their dressage score of 31.7 for 4th place overall.

Hannah Sommer with Magic Replica and Olivia Smith with Der Romany both competed in the Novice Rider division. Hannah put in a very solid performance in all three phases. Olivia finished on her dressage score for 7th place overall.

Up next for Team Woodstock is the Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials this coming weekend in Thompson, Georgia.
