Woodstock Eventing Competes at Carolina International

Ryan and Team Woodstock traveled to Raeford, North Carolina this past weekend to compete in the Carolina International CIC3* and Advanced divisions. Ryan rode Summit Sporthorses's Powell and the Woodstock Bennett Syndicate's Woodstock Bennett in the CIC3*, and it was both of these horse's first attempt at the level. Powell put in a stellar dressage test and was placed 4th after the dressage phase. He had a single rail on a tough stadium course and jumped clean on cross-country to finish the weekend in good form. Woodstock Bennett had a steady dressage test, picked up a single rail, and jumped clean around the cross-country course to complete the weekend.

Ryan also competed with three horses in the Advanced division. Heather and Bob Sinclair's McLovin scored a 33.1 for 11th place after the dressage phase and added time and a single rail to his dressage score for 9th place overall. Steve and Karri Guy's Frankie put in a solid performance in dressage, jumped clean on cross-country, and added a single rail to his score to finish in 13th place. The Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic made a good effort in the dressage, put in an excellent clean round on cross-country and had two rails in stadium, finishing in 15th place.
