Woodstock Eventing at Jersey Fresh International

Ryan had wonderful rides with two talented Jersey-bred horses at Jersey Fresh over the weekend. Summit Sporthorses' Powell and Ruby are half-siblings bred by Ilona English, and both horses put in impressive performances in their respective divisions.

Ryan rode Powell in the CCI3*, leading the division with a dressage score of 43.6. They added just 2.4 total penalties on cross-country and jumped double clear in stadium to claim their wire-to-wire victory on a score of 46.0. Ryan and Ruby also had great results in the CIC2*, starting the weekend with a 47.6 in dressage, jumping double clear in stadium, and adding some time on cross-country to earn a 5th place finish.

We are all mourning the tragic loss of Philippa Humphreys. To honor her memory, Woodstock Eventing encourages the eventing community to share their memories of Philly using the hashtag #memories4millie - these memories will be gathered and put into a book that will be presented to her husband Pete and 6-month-old daughter Millie.

To help raise money for Millie's college fund, we will auction off the County Saddle that we won at Jersey. We will post more information soon. In the meantime, please consider contributing to Millie's college fund on YouCaring.

Next weekend, Woodstock Eventing will travel to Elkton, Maryland for the Fair Hill International Horse Trials.

Thank you again to my incredible owners, sponsors, and supporters for your support of Woodstock Eventing!
