Woodstock Eventing at Waredaca Horse Trials

This past weekend, Woodstock Eventing traveled to Laytonsville, Maryland to compete at Waredaca Horse Trials. Ryan rode a total of four horses in the Training and Beginner Novice divisions, with positive results for all horses. Ryan competed with Summit Sporthorses' Ben Nevis, Steve and Karri Guy's Lost in Ireland, Curran Simpson's Fernhill Flame, and Mary Hazzard's Chusinmyconfession.

Ben Nevis added nothing to his dressage score of 25.2 to win the Training Horse division! Also in the Training Horse division, Lost in Ireland added only a single rail to finish in 12th place on 41.3. Fernhill Flame finished 5th in the Open Training, adding a single rail to his score of 28. 
 
Chusinmyconfession competed in the Beginner Novice Horse division. He moved up two spots after dressage to finish in 6th place on his dressage score of 36.8.

Stacey Driscoll competed Summit Sporthorses' Popeye in the Open Novice division. Popeye scored an impressive 22.8 to lie in first place after dressage. They picked up penalties on the cross country and finished the weekend in 9th place.

Next week, Team Woodstock will travel to Lexington, Virginia to compete at the Virginia CCI/CIC and Horse Trials.
