Woodstock Eventing Purchases Top Young Event Horses

Shannondale Mari

After wrapping up his 2016 season, Ryan traveled to Ireland to attend the seventh annual Monart Sale. 

On behalf of owner Sarah Hughes he purchased the top lot of the sale, a three-year-old mare Shannondale Mari. She is by the Darco son Shannondale Sarco, out of Shannondale Maria (by Lux Z).

Sarah owns Mari's full brother, Shannondale Percy, a six-year-old currently competing at the One Star level with Ryan.

Ryan also purchased a three-year-old bay gelding named Tullabeg Dilson. Tullabeg Dilson is by the Thoroughbred Dilshaan, out of a mare by Ramiro B.

Both horses will remain in Ireland until the spring to be broken in and then brought to the States to join Ryan's impressive string of talented horses.
