Ryan and Team Woodstock Eventing had a successful weekend competing six horses at the Maryland Horse Trial at Loch Moy Farm.

In the Open Preliminary divisions, Ryan competed Shannondale Cooley, Connor Giesselman's Frankie and Sarah Hughes' Alcatraz.  Frankie put in a solid test to score a 30.4 and finished on his dressage score to take home 4th place in the Open Preliminary-A division. Alcatraz lead the Open Preliminary-B division from start with a 29.4 in dressage. He then jumped double clear around both the cross-country and show jumping tracks to take home the win! Shannondale Cooley earned a 35.4 and with only 2 time penalties to add to his dressage score took home 4th place.

All three of Ryan's horses in the Open Training division finished on their dressage scores. Liz Bond's Get Ready Get Set took home 3rd place on a score of 29.3 followed by Sarah Hughes' Shannondale Murphy in 4th place with a 30.5 and Steve and Karri Guy's Lost in Ireland in 11th on a score of 36.

In the Training Rider division, Curran Simpson and his own Fernhill Flame added nothing to their dressage score and had a great double clear trip around cross-country and show jumping to finish in 8th place. Cole Horn rode Summit Sporthorses' Popstar to a 3rd place finish in the Open Novice-A division finishing on their dressage score of 27.2.

This upcoming weekend, Ryan will travel to Minnesota to teach a clinic at Wildwood Farm. Woodstock Eventing will compete at their next event on July 28-30 at the Horse Park of New Jersey Horse Trials II.
