Woodstock Eventing had an excellent weekend competing at Plantation Field International Horse Trials. Ryan rode Summit Sporthorses' Powell and Get Ready Get Set in the FEI divisions. Both of the horses were in fine form over the weekend and had a great preps before heading to their next competition in just a few weeks.

In a large 59 horse CIC1* division, Get Ready Get Set owned by Liz Bond, performed a beautiful dressage test to score 43.6, had one unlucky rail in show jumping, and confidently jumped a clean cross-country round to finish in 3rd place.

Ryan rode Powell, owned by Summit Sporthorses' in the highly competitive CIC3* division with a field of 47 horses. Powell laid down a very respectable dressage test to score a 46.2, had one rail in show jumping, and jumped boldly and clean on cross country to finish in 12th place. Powell will look to contest the CCI3* at Fair Hill International and is feeling ready to go.

Coming up next, Woodstock Eventing will travel to Medford, New Jersey to compete at the Flora Lea Fall Horse Trials with several horses. Following Flora Lea, Ryan will compete Sarah Hughes' Alcatraz in the U.S. Open $50,000 Arena Eventing Competition that will be held during the Rolex Central Park Horse Show on Saturday, September 23rd. Stay tuned for a full report!
