Ryan took over the reins for Phillip Dutton while he is on the mend and competed Anita Motion's Sea of Clouds in the CCI1* division. Ryan and Sea of Clouds finished in 24th adding only a single rail to their dressage score. In the CIC2* division Ryan rode Joan Nichols's Lup the Loop and Fernhill Mystery to two double clear top 5 finishes! Ryan and Lup the Loop finished 4th on their dressage score of 51.1. Only few points behind in 5th was Fernhill Mystery on his dressage score of 56.4.

In the Open Preliminary division, Ryan competed the Woodstock Bennett Syndicate's Woodstock Bennett, Liz Bond's Get Ready Get Set, and Anna Hasselquist's Shannondale Joss. Woodstock Bennett put in an outstanding dressage test in his first competition back scoring a 25.2 and jumping a clear show jumping round to finish the combined test in 3rd. Get Ready Get Set delivered a solid test to score a 30.4 and finished on his dressage score in 7th. Shannondale Joss continues to impress at the level and finished on his dressage score of 35.9 in 12th.

Ryan competed Mary Hazzard's Chusinmyconfession, Jean-Marie Evringham's Mainstreet Magic, and Cheryl Gamboney's Gambado in the Open Training division. Chusinmyconfession finished 5th on her dressage score of 30.7. Mainstreet Magic finished 10th on his dressage score of 33.2. Gambado scored a 33.0 in dressage and had one unlucky rail to finish in 14th.

Coming up next, Ryan will be traveling to Clayton, NC to teach a clinic at the Portofino Equestrian Center.

Thank you to Woodstock Eventing's incredible team, owners, sponsors, and supporters that make it all possible!
