Billy McClusky
Woodstock Eventing had a successful weekend competing at Stable View’s Aiken Opener Horse Trials. Ryan rode seven horses around the Prelim, Training, and Novice level tracks with four finishing inside the top five. All horses had a great and confident start to the 2018 season.

In the Open Preliminary division, Ryan competed Steve and Karri Guy’s Lost in Ireland and the Woodstock Bennett Syndicate’s Woodstock Bennett. Lost in Ireland put in a great performance for his third Preliminary competition finishing 2nd on his dressage score of 32.2. Ryan and Bennett added only time cross country to his dressage score of 28 to finish 4th.

Ben Nevis
Ryan rode four horses in the Open Training division. Summitt Sporthorses’ Ben Nevis delivered an outstanding dressage test to score a 20.2 and finished 2nd on his dressage score. Mary Hazzard’s Chusinmyconfession put in a straightforward test to earn a 32.4 and finished 11th. Cheryl Gamboney’s Gambado and Jean-Marie Evringham’s Mainstream Magic both produced workmanlike tests to score a 35 and 36.7 to finish 19th and 20th. In the Open Novice division, Ryan piloted Linda Ledray's Billy McClusky to a 4th place finish on his dressage score.
