Woodstock Eventing Tops Prelim and Training Divisions at Sporting Days

Eiffel
It was a busy weekend for Ryan and his team with six horses competing in Aiken at Sporting Days Farm. Five of the six horses made their training and novice level debuts. It was a great confidence building weekend for all horses.

Ryan rode Curran Simpson’s Fernhill Flame to the win in the Open Preliminary-A division. Flame performed a solid test to score a 24.4 in dressage and added nothing to his score to win the competitive division.

Linda Ledray’s Irish Sporthorse Billy McClusky moved up to training level with Ryan in the irons. At just his second competition, Billy McClusky scored a 29.3 and led Open Training-A from start to finish.

Ryan piloted four young horses to successful trips around their first novice level competition. Summit Sporthorses’ Eiffel and Curran Simpson’s Tullabeg Dilson finished 10th and 11th in Open Novice-A. Amy Peloquin’s Shannondale Julius and Linda Ledray's Cooley Blue finished 7th and 10th in Open Novice-B.

This coming weekend, Woodstock Eventing will travel to Thomson, Georgia to compete at Pine Top’s Intermediate Horse Trial.
