Woodstock Eventing Delivers Top Placings at Plantation Field May Horse Trial

Gambado performing his test.
It was a busy Saturday at Plantation Field for Ryan and his team with four horses competing in the Open Training divisions. The event was a great confidence building weekend for all horses.

Ryan rode Summit Sporthorses' Ben Nevis to the win in the Open Training-A division. Ben Nevis performed a solid test to score a 34.1 in dressage and added nothing to his score to move up a spot and win the division. Cheryl Gamboney's Gambado was close behind and finished in 3rd on his dressage score of 36.4

Linda Ledray's Irish Sporthorse Billy McClusky maintained his second place position after dressage and finished in 2nd on a 31.0 in Open Training-B. Atlantic Spring owned by Julia Strawbridge, had a great performance back competing and finished in 4th on a 32.1.

Ryan was pleased with each horses' performance and how well they are improving in each phase. He is looking forward to continuing to bring them up the levels.
