Woodstock Eventing's Weekend at The Maryland Horse Trial

Over the weekend, Ryan and Team Woodstock Eventing had a successful weekend competing six horses at The Maryland Horse Trial at Loch Moy Farm I. 

Chusinmyconfession
Ryan rode Mary Hazzard's Chusinmyconfession in the Open Preliminary-A division. Chusinmyconfession scored a 35.9 in dressage and delivered a double clear rounds in show jumping and cross country to move up the leaderboard 8 spots to finish in 5th place. In the Open Preliminary-B division, Ryan rode the Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic in the combined test. It was Classic's first time back competing since his CCI4* completion at Rolex Kentucky in 2017. He put in a great performance to earn a 30 in dressage and finished 2nd after his clear show jumping round. Woodstock Eventing's Assistant Rider, Cole Horn competed in the Junior Young Rider Open Preliminary with his own Cooley Sligo. Cole and Cooley Sligo competed in the combined test and delivered a 34.6 in dressage and jumped a clear show jumping round to finish in 2nd at the conclusion of show jumping.

Fernhill Classic
Gambado
In the Open Training-A division, Linda Ledray's Billy McClusky delivered his 6th top 3 finish at the Training level. Ryan and Billy scored a 35.2 in dressage and jumped double clear to bring home a 2nd place finish. Cheryl Gamboney's Gambado competed in the Open Training-B division and added only a single unlucky rail to his 33.8 dressage score to finish in 6th place. 
Up next, Woodstock Eventing will travel again to Adamstown, Maryland for back to back weekends of competition at The Maryland Horse Trials.
