Woodstock Eventing Takes Top Spots at The Fork CCI2*-S

Ruby

Woodstock Eventing has returned from a weekend of competition at The Fork Horse Trials in North Carolina. Ryan and Summit Sporthorses' 10-year-old Oldenburg mare (Royal Prince x Dinara), Ruby and Mary Hazzard's 8-year-old Thoroughbred mare (Mystic Replica x Don't Tell Nina), Chusinmyconfession delivered top performances in the CCI2*-S! The success of both horses is a great testament to the quality of breeding programs by Ilona English of Summit Sporthorses and Mary Hazzard.

Both horses had excellent preparation leading up to their first FEI event of the year. The CCI2*-S winner, Ruby bred by three-time USEF Leading U.S. Event Horse Breeder Ilona English, moved into 3rd place at the conclusion of dressage. She performed a solid test to earn a 33.0 and added a single rail in show jumping. On the final day, Ruby confidently stormed around the cross country course and galloped home double clear to clinch win!

Chusinmyconfession was consistent across all three phases over the weekend to take home 3rd place in the competitive CCI2*-S division. She performed an obedient dressage test to earn a 34.2, added one rail in show jumping, and only 0.8 time penalties on cross country. In her past three competitions, Chusin has consistently placed in the top 3 and Ryan is excited to share Chusin's first top FEI finish with her owner and breeder Mary.

Congratulations

Welcome to the world Ryan's new foal!
