Woodstock Eventing Wins at Radnor Hunt H.T.

Ryan and his team had a busy weekend competing at both the Radnor Hunt H.T. and MDHT at Loch Moy Farm. At Radnor Hunt H.T., Ryan won the Richard Thompson Memorial Award along with 2 wins and other top places.

On Saturday, Ryan rode six horses at Radnor Hunt H.T. Ryan and Julia Strawbridge’s MK’s Concord Dawn took the win in the Open Preliminary-A division on their dressage score of 26.3. Ryan secured a second win over the weekend in the Open Training division aboard Julia Strawbridge’s The Optimist on a 30.5. Syndicate owned Cooley By Designed finished 12th in Open Training on a 38.4.

It was a great weekend for the younger horses as well. Ryan piloted five-year old Bellavista in her eventing debut this weekend. Bellavista scored a 26 in dressage and finished 6th in Open Novice-A. Insuspense owned by Julia Strawbridge scored a 27.9 in dressage and finished 3rd in Open Novice-B.

At MDHT at Loch Moy Farm, Ryan rode Summit Sporthorses’ Powell in the 4* Combined Test Prep. Ryan and Powell delivered a solid test to score a 30 and finished 3rd. Curran Simpson was also competing his own, RF Cosmos in Open Novice-B this weekend. Curran and Cosmos finished 3rd on their dressage score of 31.9
