Woodstock Eventing's young horses were out competing at the ESDCTA New Jersey H.T. over the weekend. Ryan rode 4 horses across the Preliminary and Training divisions during the one-day competition. It was a successful day with Woodstock Eventing bringing home three top 5 finishes.
Julia Strawbridge’s Carmella had a solid performance in the Open Preliminary-A division. Ryan and Carmella scored a 35.9 in dressage and added zero penalties to their score to finish 3rd. Julia Strawbridge climbed the leaderboard to clinch the win in the Open Preliminary-B on her dressage score of 32.6. This was Julia’s second consecutive win with her own 12-year-old Australian Warmblood mare, Balmoral Oakey!

The Optimist moved up the leaderboard after his double clear jumping rounds to finish on his dressage score of 33.4 in 4th place. Insuspense did the combined test and tied with The Optimist for 5th place after dressage on a score of 33.4.
