Ryan had an excellent weekend competing at Plantation Field International Horse Trials. The Woodstock Team had a busy day with Ryan riding four in the Open Preliminary division. As always, Plantation Field put on a great event and Ryan has been grateful to have access to a world-class venue down the road from his home base to produce and prepare his horses.
All of the horses were in fine form over the weekend. The Open Preliminary division was highly competitive with over 31 horses competing. The Rembrandt Syndicate's Rembrandt scored a 27.8 in dressage and jumped a beautiful double clear to win the division! Julia Strawbridge's mare Carmella finished close behind in 2nd place on a score of 28.1. Cooley Cadbury also owned by Julia, finished 3rd on his dressage score of 29.6. Linda Ledray's Cooley Flight scored a 29.1 in dressage and added a rail and a small amount of time to his score to finish in 13th place.
Thank you to the Walker family for hosting such a wonderful event!
