Woodstock Eventing's Young Horses Deliver Top Placings

Woodstock Eventing's young horses delivered solid performances during another successful weekend of competition. Ryan rode three horses around the Beginner Novice level tracks at Fair Hill Starter Horse Trials. In Beginner Novice Horse-A, Linda Ledray's Check Point finished at the top in 2nd on his dressage score of 34.5. Julia Strawbridge's Tap the Pistol scored a 34.3 in dressage, had one down in show jumping, and a double clear cross country to finish close behind in 4th. In Beginner Novice Horse-B, Julia's Evening Ride scored a 31.8 in dressage and finished 4th. Also, Woodstock Renegade jumped clear around his first event to finish 7th with Assistant Rider Casey Poe in the irons. Each horse is improving from one week to the next and Ryan is looking forward to continuing to build their skills and confidence through the fall.

HORSES FOR SALE

Rembrandt is a 2008 Selle Francais x TB gelding standing at 16.3hh. A winner at 4 star, ‘Dutch’ rides in a snaffle bit all phases and is the perfect gentleman on the ground. Very honest jumper winning his last start on his dressage score of 27. Dutch would suit and amateur or young rider wanting to gain experience and confidence eventing up to Advanced.

Cooley Flight is a 2012 bay Irish Sport Horse gelding standing at 16.2hh. ‘Blue’ has never had a XC jump fault and has the scope to go all the way up the levels. He is a excellent jumping horse with super movement. Blue would suit a young professional wanting to go to the top of the sport. He would also suit an amateur wanting to go and have fun eventing or show jumping.

Insuspense is a top class gray 2012 TB Gelding. Standing at 16.2hh, ‘Stanley’ is a beautiful mover; brave yet careful jumper. Suitable for amateur or professional to have fun eventing and win.
