Woodstock Eventing competed in their second spring competition since returning home to Pennsylvania after a great winter season in Aiken. Plantation Field is just down the road from Ryan's home base and always runs a fantastic event. It was a successful weekend with Woodstock Argo, Check Point, Insuspense, and Cooley Continental all putting in great efforts and finishing within points of each other in the Open Training division.
Curran Simpson's Woodstock Argo and Linda Ledray's Check Point finished 7th and 9th on their dressage scores of 31.2 and 32.4. Julia Strawbridge's Insuspense delivered the best test of the group to score a 31 but had an unfortunate rail down in show jumping to finish just outside of the top 10 in 12th. Curran's Cooley Continental produced a consistent test to earn a 32.9, had a rail down in show jumping, and zero penalties on cross country to finish 16th.
Up next, Woodstock Eventing will be heading to Jersey Fresh. Stay tuned!
