Blue Ribbons for Woodstock at MCTA

It was a great weekend for Woodstock Eventing competing eight horses at the MCTA Horse Trials. It was a wonderfully run event and great for the lower level and upper level horses to get out and show off their hard work.

In the Intermediate division, Woodstock Bennett owned by Curran and Margy Simpson, scored an impressive 25.7 in dressage and added just a handful of cross country time faults to that score to finish in first place! Mark Hartsch and Linda Ledrays' Woodstock Wallaby also competed in the Open Intermediate division scoring a 30.2 on the flat, and adding just one rail and some time to finish in eighth.

Sarah Hughes had two horses competing in the Open Preliminary, with Zeizos scoring a 32.7 and adding just 1.6 time faults to finish in second place, and Cobra scoring a 27.3 and adding just one rail to finish in fourth place.

The training level horses had a very impressive weekend, with Mary Hazzard's Isabella C winning the Open Training 1 division, finishing on her dressage score of 30.5, and Summit Sport Horses' Ruby winning the Open Training 2 division, finishing on her dressage score of 23.3!

In the Open Novice 1 division, Jill Collis's Twain, finished in 9th place adding just one rail to his dressage score of 32.4. Steve and Karri Guy's Lost In Ireland competed in the Open Novice 2 division and finished on his dressage score of 27.2 to take home fourth place.

It was a very successful weekend and we would like to thank all of our wonderful owners, sponsors, and team members for all their help.
Loving our new Professional's Choice boots!
