Ryan and Team Woodstock traveled to Tallahassee, Florida this past weekend to compete at the Red Hills International Horse Trials at Elinor Klapp Phipps Park. Red Hills put on a fantastic event, both for riders to compete at and for owners and spectators who attended. Mike Etherington-Smith designed a brilliant course that challenged horses and riders. Ryan competed with three horses in the Advanced division and two horses in the Intermediate division.

Ryan competed in the Advanced division with the Woodstock Bennett Syndicate's Woodstock Bennett, the Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic, and Heather and Bob Sinclair's McLovin. All three horses performed well in the dressage and were all placed in the top ten after the first phase. All three horses jumped clean on cross-country, and all put in strong performances in the stadium jumping. Woodstock Bennett finished in 2nd place, Fernhill Classic in 5th place, and McLovin in 9th place.

Summit Sporthorses' Ruby and Mark Hartsch and Linda Ledray's Woodstock Wallaby both competed with Ryan in the Intermediate division. Ruby added just cross-country time to her dressage score to place 3rd. Joey put in a solid performance in the dressage, went double clean in show jumping, and had an educational cross-country round.
