Woodstock Eventing at Virginia Horse Trials

Woodstock Eventing is back from a great weekend at the Virginia Horse Trials in Lexington, Virginia. Ryan rode 5 horses total - 2 in the CCI1* and 3 in the Intermediate.

Woodstock Eventing's Shannondale Sergio and Mary Hazzard's Isabella C were in 1st and 2nd after dressage in the CCI1*. Rider error on cross-country turned out to be costly with 20 penalties for both rides on Saturday. Fortunately, both Sergio and Isabella jumped double clear stadium rounds to finish the weekend on a positive note.

Ryan also rode Steve and Karri Guy's Frankie, the Woodstock Bennett Syndicate's Woodstock Bennett, and Mark Hartsch and Linda Ledray's Woodstock Wallaby in the Intermediate. All three horses put on great performances, with Frankie and Bennett making their final run before Bromont.

Here are videos of all 5 horses' dressage tests on Friday:
