Woodstock Eventing at Waredaca HT

Woodstock Eventing spent the weekend at Waredaca Horse Trials in Laytonsville, Maryland. Ryan had three rides in the Training divisions, with positive results for all horses.

Ryan and Shannondale Percy

Ryan rode Shannondale Percy and Chances Dream in the Training Horse division. Percy started the weekend with a 28.8 to tie for 2nd in dressage, and jumped two double clear rounds to win the class on his dressage score. Ted's American eventing debut went well; having evented and show jumped in Ireland before he was imported, Ted put in a straightforward dressage test and added a single unlucky rail in show jumping. Ryan and Ted had a great double-clear cross-country ride to finish in the top 8.

Ryan and Chances Dream

Ben Nevis contested the Open Training division, earning a 26.2 in dressage and jumping double clear in both stadium jumping and cross-country to place 1st on their dressage score.

Ryan and Ben Nevis

Stacey Driscoll rode Popstar in the Novice Horse division. They earned a 31.5 in dressage, added just one rail to their score, and jumped double-clear on cross-country. Olivia Smith and Der Romany also did well in Novice Horse, finishing on their dressage score of 30.2 to earn 7th place in the very competitive class.

After Waredaca, Woodstock Eventing packed up for the trek up to Quebec for the Bromont CCI! Everyone got into Canada in one piece, and Ryan is looking forward to riding Steve and Karri Guy's Frankie and the Woodstock Bennett Syndicate's Woodstock Bennett in the CCI3* this weekend.

Thank you to Ryan's incredible owners, sponsors, and supporters for your support of Ryan and Woodstock Eventing!
