Woodstock Eventing is back from a great weekend in Elkton, Maryland competing at one of the top events on the East Coast. Ryan kept busy at the Fair Hill International Horse Trials riding four horses from the CIC3* to Training level.

In the CIC3*, Summit Sporthorses' Powell delivered a solid dressage test to move into 2nd place on a score of 46.7. Ryan and Powell added one rail and some time on cross-country to finish in 6th place in Powell's first FEI competition of the year.

Ryan competed the Fernhill Classic Syndicate's Fernhill Classic in the Advanced division. The pair had a great run in preparation for Classic's second CCI4* at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event. The pair scored a 34.4 in the dressage and jumped clear both in the show jumping and around the cross-country to finish in 6th place.

Alcatraz owned by Sarah Hughes impressed in the Preliminary combined test. Ryan and Alcatraz scored a 26.7 to sit on top of the leaderboard in 1st place after dressage! The pair went on to jump a foot perfect round to maintain their lead and add nothing to their score.

In the Training division, Ryan piloted Steven and Karri Guy's Lost in Ireland to a positive and educational finish. The pair had a few unfortunate rails come down in the show jumping but scored a positive 33.2 in the dressage and blazed around the tough Training level cross-country track to a respectable finish.

Next, Ryan and his team will compete down the road from their home base at the Plantation Field April Horse Trials.
