Woodstock Eventing's Weekend at Plantation Field

Woodstock Eventing traveled down the road from their home base to compete at the Plantation Field April Horse Trials. Team Woodstock was out in full force this past weekend competing across all levels and Ryan kept busy piloting five young horses around the Novice level track.

Team Woodstock Eventing took home 3 of the Top 5 spots in the Novice Horse division! Ryan and L'istesso Tempo took home the win leading the division from start to finish on her dressage score of 26.5! This lovey horse is for sale and continues to impress by delivering top placings at every outing. Stacey Driscoll and Summit Sporthorses' Popstar finished in 3rd place on a score of 28.7, followed by Cole Horn and his own Cooley Sligo in 4th place. Mary Hazard's Chusinmyconfession delivered a solid test scoring a 38.7 and jumping double clear around cross-country and stadium to finish in 11th place with Ryan in the irons.

Woodstock Eventing dominated the Top 5 again in the Open Novice division, with 3 horses in the Top 5! Ryan piloted Jean-Marie Evingham's Mainstreet Magic and Sarah Hughes' Shannondale Murphy around their third competition of their career. Mainstreet Magic scored a 23.9 in dressage and finished on his dressage score to take home 2nd place. Shannondale Murphy was right behind him scoring a 25.7 in dressage and coming home with a 3rd place finish. Atlantic Spring owned by Julia Strawbridge scored a 27.8 in the dressage and jumped double clear around show jumping and cross-country to finish in 5th place.

Stacey and her own Luck of the Irish, moved up to the Preliminary level, jumping double clear around the cross-country track to finish in 12th place in their first Preliminary competition. In the Training Rider division, Hannah Sommer and her own Magic Replica, finished in 9th place with a double clear cross-country round.
