Woodstock Eventing Tops Bucks County Horse Park Horse Trials

Woodstock Eventing is back from a great weekend at Bucks County Horse Park in Revere, PA. 

Ryan and Sarah Hughes' Alcatraz won the Preliminary/Training division. Alcatraz scored a 23.2 in dressage and added only 0.4 time on cross-country to maintain his 14 point lead and win the division. 

In the Open Training-A division, Ryan competed Liz Bond's Get Ready Get Set and Sarah Hughes' Shannondale Murphy. Get Ready Get Set performed a solid test to score a 26.1 and went on to win the division. In just his second training level competition, Shannondale Murphy finished on his dressage score of 31.1 and took home 2nd place. Ryan competed Steve and Karri Guy's Lost in Ireland in the Open Training-B division. Lost in Ireland earned a 32.3 in dressage and jumped double clear around cross-country and stadium to finish the competition in 2nd place.

In the Open Novice-A division, Ryan rode Julia Strawbridge's Flex A Tia to a 1st place finish on their dressage score of 26.3. Stacey Driscoll rode Summit Sporthorses' Popstar in the Open Novice-B division. They earned a 28.8 in dressage and jumped clear around show jumping and on cross-country to finish in 3rd place. 

Up next, Ryan will be traveling to Clayton, NC to teach a clinic at the Portofino Equestrian Center.
