Woodstock Eventing Sweeps the Horse Park of New Jersey Horse Trials

It was another busy weekend for Ryan and Team Woodstock Eventing. Ryan competed eleven horses this past weekend while coaching students across divisions. 


Frankie
Alcatraz
In the Open Preliminary-A division, Ryan took home 2nd place aboard Alcatraz owned by Sarah Hughes. Alcatraz earned a 34.8 in the dressage, jumped clear around both show jumping and cross-country with only a handful of time penalties. Frankie, owned by Connor Giesselman, competed in the Open Preliminary-B division. Ryan gave Frankie an educational ride finishing in 10th place. 

Ryan rode six horses in two Training level divisions. In the Open Training-A division Ryan rode Steve and Karri Guy's Lost in Ireland, Julia Strawbridge's Vamos A Ver, and Atlantic Spring. Lost in Ireland finished in 7th place on his dressage score of 33.9 and Vamos A Ver finished in 9th adding one rail to his dressage score of 33. Atlantic Spring finished the competition in 12th place on his dressage score of 39.3. Finishing close behind Atlantic Spring was Woodstock Eventing's student, Alex Conrad and his own Preacher. Alex successfully piloted Preacher around his first Training level event to finish in 13th place. 

Get Ready Get Set
Woodstock Eventing's younger horses stepped up and swept the Open Training-B division, clinching first, second and third places. Liz Bond's Get Ready Get Set came home with the win by scoring a 28.4 in the dressage and adding only 1.2 time penalties to his score. Finishing in 2nd place on his dressage score of 30.2 was Shannondale Murphy owned by Sarah Hughes. Coming very close behind in 3rd place was Shannondale Cooley on a score of 30.9. 

Lost in Ireland


Gambado
In the Open Novice division, Woodstock Eventing's, Cole Horn, won the division on his dressage score of 32.8 with his own Cooley Sligo. Ryan, also in the Open Novice division, rode Cheryl Gamboney's Gambado and Julia Strawbridge's Flex A Tia finishing in 4th and 7th place respectively. 
Coming up next, Woodstock Eventing will travel to The Maryland H.T. at Loch Moy Farm.
